Thanks to securing Ministry of Justice COVID-19 Extraordinary Funding, three specialist organisations have joined forces to engage with Hillingdon employers to help them understand and support staff experiencing domestic abuse through the ‘Work Place Safe Space’ project.
Hillingdon Women’s Centre, The Sharan Project, and GRoW will be working closely with Hillingdon Council to engage with 150 local businesses with a reach of up to 5000 employees and will also support the development of 50 safe spaces in the local area.
We will make some beautiful greeting cards form Xmas, birthday or any festive occasion you choose. Using card, paper, rubber stamps, ribbon, beads glitter and more to create 3 cards with envelopes to take home.
In this workshop we will design and decorate three wooden fridge magnets using various options of paint, decoupage, glitter, varnish, beads, etc.
Learn some confidence building drawing techniques and join us on a creative journey to discover that anyone really can pick up a pencil and actually start drawing.
We are happy to introduce or new employment program, specially designed to support women to get back to work and upgrade their skills. A combination of one-to-one support along with group sessions.

We are currently offering an Immigration Advice service specifically for women who going through, or have gone through domestic or sexual abuse. This service is provided by our partners from Ashiana Network. This is available through appointment only, so please do contact the centre to arrange an appointment
