Domestic Abuse

Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) is a prevalent and multifaceted issue. It encompasses emotional, financial, psychological, sexual and physical abuse.

We are aware that women face multiple barriers to access support: fear, financial dependence, immigration status, language, disabilities, mental health, and many more.

We offer a non-judgmental and confidential service. Our aim is to ensure that all women get to know their rights and options to make their own decisions. We make sure they are properly referred to get the right support according to their needs and experience.

We welcome women from all backgrounds and ethnicities, 18 and over.

Due to COVID-19 and in line with the Government guidelines we are offering remote support. If necessary, face-to-face sessions are available by appointment only.

Please call 01895 259578 or email info@hillindonwomenscentre.org to get an appointment with our dedicated Domestic Abuse worker.

Remember, if there is an emergency you should call the police at 999. Your safety comes first.
